Part 2.
So the big day had come and we all got dolled up for the event. There are so many pictures that there may not be a lot of time for words but I will try and put the captions as I see fit.
Matthew is seen here with his thumb (which is impossible to leave without) and his doggie (almost impossible to leave without). He was pretty dapper in his vest and tie.
James is taking a look at what is going on in the front of the church and what that Justin kid is doing with his auntie Tami. James was looking pretty cute as you will see later.
The background circles of this pictures look pretty cool when they are up, but took a lot of work to get together.
Cousins hanging out right before the service. We really wish we lived closer to these kiddos so we could see them more often. They had a blast together and were always really good together.
Here are the cousins seeing what all the gals are up to.
Here are all of the bridesmaids and my sister. I took a lot of pictures of this time, but I know the professional pictures turned out way better.
How much more adorable can you get...I mean really.
The real wedding party.
I was able to snap this pretty good picture of the beaming parents of the bride. They cleaned up pretty great and had a smile on their faces all day long.
The bouquets looked pretty great....as far as flowers are concerned
Awesome family picture that just may make it on the Christmas card.
James had a ball as the "ribbon wand" kid. Not sure how manly that is, but he had fun and looked pretty good.
Here is my dad with a tear or two.
And here is the happy couple right after the kiss and announcement. Right after the kiss my nephew Joey let out a loud "eeewwww" and everyone laughed. It was pretty cute.
The wife and I at the wedding reception. We were the emcee's and I was pretty nervous. After downing two beers I was ready and pretty much nailed it. With Brenda right next to me we really got a few laughs and ended on a high note...always a good thing.
Matty just having the time of his life. The kids danced the night away and had a blast. We had two babysitters up in the hotel room that eventually took the kiddos (and some other ones), but when we got back to the room at 1145, James was still bouncing off of the walls.
The father daughter dance.
James had several partners over the night and ran around like a chicken with his head cut off for along time.
Look at all that fun
And I got about 30-40 of these "Brenda action shots" where she was in several states of jumping, dancing, laughing, and just general tomfoolery.
The "brothers having a rest" shot.
Here are the sister-in-laws. I amnot sure how long it will be till we get to go to another killer wedding, but this one will go down in history as being epic fun.
The next day we all met at Justin's resort type apartment complex and watched them open gifts and swam in the pool.
Here James has tackled and is now hugging his cousin. Joe was so great about letting James just grab or hug him and did not complain one bit.
Here is the pool at Justin's apartment complex. The pool had 5 waterfalls and a sandy beach...at the pool. Now I know why Tami decided to marry him, heck I was tempted after I saw that pool complex.
Here the kids are right before watching a movie on the last night together. All in all we had a blast and now we think it may be a good idea to get down to Phoenix every spring...the weather was awesome and just the break we needed.
